Quality Inn Asheville Downtown Tunnel Rd

If you want the feel of a freshly renovated hotel with exterior entry this is it. Exterior is clean, and seems safe. We had a very nice stay while visiting Asheville.

Had everything I needed for a reasonable price

The 1430 Tunnel Road, had black plastic wrapped around the signs, entrance was blocked with orange cones,so we checked into the Comfort Inn.We ask the clerk at the Comfort inn,he said they turned 1430 into a place for Veterans since Hurricane last year

If we could get our money back, since we could not stay

For a budget hotel I thought this was a good experience. My room was clean. The bed and pillows are comfortable. Everything was in working order. Prince at the front desk was very accommodating. The breakfast buffet is basic. Paper plates and plastic silverware. There is a nice waffle maker, bagels, yogurt, juice, cereal, fresh apples and bananas. No protein. This hotel has two stories. The doors do open to the outside. That made me a little nervous. There are security cameras. The doors have peep holes, a deadbolt, and a flip lock. The location is excellent- right off the highway, less than three miles to the Biltmore Estate, and close to downtown. There is a Wing Stop next door and plenty of other restaurants close by.

I was traveling with 2 dogs and there was nowhere to wash them and all.There was no no grass to take him out into or nothing

It was a unplanned trip. Needed to relax. And this was a great place to do it. Staff was great.

The phone in the room didn't have a cord and couldn't use it. Staff was amazing.

The room was nice and clean. The area was quiet and was convenientl. Was a greatbplace to stay.
