Dirty room and shower. Worn out and not maintained. Broken elevator.

It is rare for me to write negative reviews but this was one of the worst hotel experiences my husband and I have ever had. After returning from a trip overseas that took 2 days of travel, we were looking forward to a hot shower and a good night's sleep. This hotel needs major refurbishing. One of two elevators was out of order. The carpeting in our room was torn; the furniture was old and worn. Even worse, there was no hot water for a shower and when the front desk was informed, no apology was forthcoming. Instead, the clerk indicated she would inform engineering. Despite our jet lag we couldn't wait to checkout and get back on the road. But beforehand, we went to the onsite restaurant for breakfast. The breakfast buffet was ample but the floors was so uneven I nearly tripped and fell. I watched as two other customers nearly did the same. My husband caught the toe of his shoe on the raised surface. It is a miracle there have not been any lawsuits for injury. Other than convenience to a major highway, there is nothing to recommend this hotel.

The Boo Yah! Restaurant is very convenient, 24 hours gym is great. Staff were friendly & helpful. I booked the room to include breakfast, boo yah couldn’t find anything on their side. I went to the front desk and it still showed up on my bill, the front desk took care of it.

Kept hearing foot steps as if someone walked into my room. Breakfast at Boo Yah was not buffet style and overpriced for what it is.

I liked the location. It was convenient for an event nearby I was attending. The room was clean and beds comfy.

From checking in to leaving, I did not feel welcomed. I felt like an inconvenience. Each time I tried to ask a question, I was met with a dismissive reply. When I booked my reservation it stated on the Booking.com app that it included free breakfast but was told rudely at front desk that my room did not include it. Also, I called to inquire about the shuttle service at Doubletree and was instructed to make arrangements when I arrive. After arriving, I was told the shuttle was already booked by a wedding party and it was only servicing those attendees. So ultimately I had to pay for Ubers and breakfast. Very misleading. I would have stayed at another hotel but thought this one provided the best value and logistics for what I needed.
