"Brigolante Guest Apartments were clean and the scenery beautiful but it was not what we expected."

The rural scenery was beautiful and the building gave a typical rustic farmhouse experince.

The drive from Assisi was so much farther than we expected. Had it not been for someone whose door we knocked on who lived about a mile away from Brigolante Guest Apartments who kindly drove down to the valley to show us where it was, we might never have found it. GPS signal was blocked in the rural area. That caused us to arrive at late in a remote area. We had to buy a few things from the very limited selection at a local store/restaurant to make it until the morning. We thought breakfast was included and it was not. The bed was also very hard. The hosts spoke no English so it was very difficult to communicate.
