Holiday Inn Portsmouth Downtown by IHG

Love this hotel. Stay here every time im in the area.

It was modern looking very clean and spacious.

Hotel is in process of a remodel, but what is done is beautiful. Friendly staff as well.

The room is very clean and beds are comfortable. The amenities are nice. The shower had low water pressure, but was still ok. I asked for a handicapped room because my handicapped 87 year old mother is with me. She is a below knee amputee and needs a wall-in shower. This was not given to us.

The hotel was under renovation, which you didn't tell me, parking was limited, the toolbox on my truck was broken into in the parking lot, and while I know they must have security footage of the break-in, they "need a warrant" for it. I just want to file an insurance claim for it, just help me, people.

The room quality was ok, and the bathroom set up was not great. When you used the toilet the door was right there so you felt crammed in. Our room smelled terrible, but I didn’t feel like asking to change late at night. Bed had a large dip and hurt my husbands back.
