"EVIL SCAM AGENT - STAY WELL AWAY"

STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS AGENT!!! THIS IS A SCAM. Despite having a non-cancellation confirmed booking when we turned up at 11pm after a long journey there was another family there!! We tried to contact the agent but no one answered. The neighbour helped and in the end we eventually managed to speak to her. She effectively got a better offer of a longer booking and simply just let us arrive and suffer. She claimed to have sent emails asking for deposit but there were no such emails - besides she should have taken the deposit from the credit card which was used for the booking. 'Conveniently' her friend then turned up and took us to a nearby apartment which had AC in one bedroom and the living room. We had to then put mattresses on the floor of the lounge and sleep there to avail the AC. This is a scam and rather than cancel the booking she waits for you to get there and then knowing you have no choice you end up taking the apart in the middle of the night with young tired kids. I reported this to hotels.com but as they earn commission from these scumbags they tend to do very little - they offered me a 80 gbp compensation and as you can imagine I told them to keep it! This evil woman ruined our family holiday for her greed and scheming plans. We booked well in advance too. STAY AWAY AND NEVER GO NEAR THIS AGENT.
