Wonderful guesthouse in a beautiful remote location! Cons - They don't give you toiletries and there are no stores nearby. Breakfast buffet was not great.

This guesthouse is spread out over many utilitarian-looking buildings on a pretty hillside. Our room (three beds) was nothing fancy but was very clean and worked well as we out all day exploring. We had a middle room in one of the long buildings and noted that the walls were thin, but most other residents were quiet and kept early hours so not a big deal. Breakfast (included) was a continential breakfast buffet with yogurts, pastries, bread, sliced meats and cheeses, hard boiled eggs etc. it was served in a large bright dining room and everyone followed spacing and sanitizing/mask-wearing protocols, which we appreciated. There was also seating outside. It was easy and quick to get from our lodging to Húsavík and to Myvatn—this makes it a great base for exploring the area!

Very clean. Good restaurant. Great breakfast. The guesthouse team was very friendly and efficient. Room was big and comfy. Doing laundry at the guesthouse is possible! You give your bag of laundry and you get it back clean next morning. We would specifically like to mention Veronica. Her service and professionalism was one of a kind! We enjoyed our stay.

This location has a group of buildings, each with 6-8 rooms in them. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Check-in was easy with very attentive service by the owners. I do like that you have to reserve a time for breakfast because it kept the number of people down a bit and made it a nicer experience in the morning. Breakfast was really good, making us wish we had dinner there the night before. It is about 15 minutes or so from the center of Husavik, but the drive is very pleasant. Highly recommend this location to anyone visiting the area.

In de middel of nowhere….maar op de route ringweg 1 . Alles heeeel netjes . Haardroger op de kamer .Spijtig geen waterkoker op de kamer . Zou handig zijn want koffie en thee in hier apart te betalen de eerste plaats in Ijsland . Ontbijt was uitstekend

Ottima struttura con camere ampie. Cortesia dello staff (abbiamo avuto un upgrade). Puliti e ampi gli ambienti comuni - la cucina si trova in un cottage indipendente rispetto alle camere. Abbondante e ricca di varietà la colazione.

Chambre de base avec lit simple quand on réserve seul. Pas d’option plus grand lit même si je suis un grand mec. C’est bon pour une nuit. Sale de bais partagée pour l’étage. Petit déjeuner complet. Personnel courtois.

Tres bien pour une étape entre Mytvaten et Husavik. Attention : l'hébergement est à 28km d'Usavik et 18km du premier restaurant.
