DoubleTree by Hilton Cairns

We loved the location. The room was spacious and comfortable. All personel were caring and professional. We felt very happy to have chosen your property for our stay in Cairns and will gladly recommend it to people we know.

I felt that the toilet did not flush adequately.

It was close to the esplanade, it included breakfast. The staff were friendly, and the bed and pillows were comfortable

It is looking a bit dated, the breakfast was ok but not excellent

Walkways and exteriors are looking sad The bathroom was very small

I liked how professional, polite and helpful the staff were. It did not matter if you were at reception, having breakfast or in your room, the staff were always a delight to talk to and always ensured you were happy with everything.

The only thing I did not like was the shower. It was a shower in the bath tub. When you are prone to falling over, they can be a real hazard. To their credit, they did get me a bath mat to prevent me slipping in the shower.

Lovely big room, great view, value for money, location & friendly helpful staff

Ground floor walk in shower was leaking and shower curtain did not contain the shower water.
