Kayenta Monument Valley Inn

Part of this property is like a motel. But there is an adjoining two story building that looks newer. I was in for a treat. The second floor of that building overlooked a beautiful hill. The room was also very comfortable and clean. The lady at the reception was also very nice. I was almost ready to leave when I first saw the motel. But ended up really liking my room. First floor will not have a view . So always stay on the second floor of the adjoining building, facing the rear of the property. No elevator though. There is a restaurant next to the reception. Did not try it.

Wifi was unavailable, Front Desk clerks rude, not friendly or courteous, gave incorrect directions to location of room. Service at hotel restaurant was extremely slow.

The website pictures are deceiving, this is just your Average hotel. The restaurant has slow service. The front desk help is also kitchen help. The pillows on our bed were smaller than regular size. They have no refrigerator or micro wave in rooms.

Not a bad quiet place very close to Monument Valley

Reception and Restaurant staff very professional, courteous and friendly. Restaurant food reasonably priced and of decent quality. Room was very dark, gloomy and I felt rather depressing. The building was 2 story and we were on the ground floor. Opening the curtains left no privacy from the car park, so difficult to enjoy the view or daylight. Unfortunately, I wish I’d paid more and stayed across the road again.

When i checked in i was informed the WiFi wasnt working meaning i couldnt finish my work for the day. The room we stayed in was a lower unit and had patched water damage near the tub. For the price paid it was not what we expected. The plus was the pool was heated and very nice. If only staying for a night its OK but way overpriced.

Receptionist wasn’t friendly

Very nice overnight stay. The staff was professional and the room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant food was very good and the staff were attentive

Pillows a little lumpy, but over all stay was satisfactory.

No microwave or refrigerator. Pool was great, very dated, needs a big upgrade. Restaurant was horrible blond waitress new,ordered nachos with beef, order came without beef. 20 minutes later it was corrected by dumping hot chili over our previous order if nachos, a horrible dinner with no offer of recourse or dispensation.
