Staff were helpful and location is close to city centre and the beach

DTX is in a great location. Close to heaps of restaurants, both local and western. Short walk to Night Market and the Beach. Our Ocean View room was amazing. Cold air con, hot showers at any time of the day. Huge bathroom and the room had a lounge chair. We found breakfast good each day with changes daily and an egg station.

Beds were 2 king single pushed together and very uncomfortable with springs in your back. I woke with pins and needles in my arms and legs on a couple of occasions. A second lounge chair would have been nice. Pool was small and not very inviting. Rooftop Bar was very ordinary, 3 or 4 stools in a sunken bar off the stairwell with no view and behind the pool.

Ocean view with reasonable price. Everything is accessible and communications through whatsapp and translator were amazing experience. Since it was our return visit, room set up was fabulous. Pick up service from the airport was easy to access. Breakfast changes every day and it was so fresh that we have never been sick of it :)

Room was OK and spacious. Location was good. So called fitness room was a bit of a joke with only a couple pieces of equipment way up in the sweltering hot attic. Front desk staff helped me with a lost passport issue, so that was much appreciated. Breakfast was decent, but not great. All in all, decent value for the money we paid. Next time I would spend more money somewhere else for a better overall experience.

Fitness facilities were very lame. Tiny, sweltering hot room with no A/C or fans. Don’t think there were even windows, but my memory may not be correct on that issue. Didn’t even consider trying to have a decent workout in there.
