Palm Garden Hotel

I was not impressed upon our arrival to see a sign that indicated that there would be NO hot water. I was also disgusted by the signature on the sign "Warm Regards!" As if the sign indicating that there was compassion from management. I was TOTALLY disgusted! I will never stay at this hotel again. The room was way too small. The Hampton across the street had studio rooms that provided the additional space. Needless to say, I would always pick the Hampton over your hotel.

Nice area with restaurants and a grocery store in walking distance. The breakfast this hotel offers is truly subpar. No pancakes, no meat such as bacon or sausages. No waffles. It’s really a continental breakfast and it’s also the reason we would never stay at this hotel again.

Everyone there is friendly. The room was very nice. I love the fact that they are dog friendly. The hotel bartender made very nice drinks. The food at the restaurant was good but a little heavy on the salt. The hotel is close to many shops walking distance right off the freeway so very convenient. I will definitely stay here again.

There isn’t anything that I did not like.

Die gute Lage. Von hier aus ist man in ca. 30 - 40 Minuten nördlich von LA.

Die süffige Couch. Die Zimmer wurden alle renoviert bzw. saniert. An der ollen Couch hält man scheinbar fest. Diese gab es schon vor 8 Jahren als wir dort waren und da war sie gefühlt schon süffig. Parkplatzgebühr ist aus meiner Sicht volle abzocke und nicht nachvollziehbar warum man diese bezahlen muss.

The continental breakfast was nothing special. Plain cheap white bagels, white bread, small muffins, powdered eggs in a casserole dish, simple cereals , overripe fruit, and oatmeal. Next day they had biscuits and gravy. The room was nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable.

Big notice! They now charge $10 extra to park, seemed like an extra money grab. Huge empty lot. The light in the bathroom didn’t work so we had to call maintenance. They didn’t have blackout curtains just plantation shutters so the room could not be made totally dark. Asked for a quiet room and they put us next to the fwy side which was noisy, Hotel was pretty empty so I asked if they could put us in a quieter room and the front desk lady said it would be $30 more for a quieter room. Another nice front desk lady intervened and said she’d put us in a quieter room for no extra charge. She wore a black jacket and was great. Didn’t get her name though. The dinner restaurant was super expensive we ate across the street.

Nice & Clean

Loved staying there last year, but I don’t think they’ve kept up their cleanliness standards. This trip had rough/stained towels and felt less safe. The restaurant is still a good spot though. Hopefully they’ll keep doing better. Grateful that they carrying packnplays for the babies.
