Guesthouse Machi

Very nice small family run hotel. It is clean and very close to the beach and boardwalk. There are several taverns, a bakery and a supermarket nearby. The room was cleaned and tidied every day. The owner Luisa is a very kind and responsive woman. We are grateful to her for all the care she took for us. We would happily stay there again.

The house was just what we needed, 2 minuts walk to the beach and very well equipped for our week stay. Louiza is an amazing hostes and took care of everything we needed. The vilage is quiet and calm and had all we needed for a beautiful vacation.

Great place to stay!!! Very central for turing all over pelion, 2 minutes walk from the promenade, 5 minutes walk to a beautiful beach. The room is very clean, well equiped kitchen, lovely porch, wonderful hosts. Breakfast is served if you wish- 3 minutes walk on the promenade. Lousia helped us with all we needed. Walking distance there is a wonderful bakery and a store with everything you need. Don't miss this amazing place!!!

Very clean. Great housekeeping every day. Quiet area. Easy walk to beach and many restaurants.

Booking.com listed property as having free breakfast daily. When we came back from our first breakfast, we were told, “Your room does not include breakfast. We will charge you 14 Euros since you are breakfast.” Checked on all of my confirmations and it never said that “our room did not get breakfast.” Never saw the owner again.

Guesthouse Machi is a unique place to stay when visiting this side of Pelion. I was warmly welcomed by the host and received my key right away. I stayed in a newly furbished ground floor apartment, which is equipped with a small kitchen. The guesthouse is clean and well-run. Just outside my door was a little, cozy and private courtyard - a perfect place for a coffee or a drink. The guesthouse is situated very close to the beach road in the pretty village of Kato Gatzea. Everything is quiet and tranquil. Guesthouse Machi will be my first choice when I go to Pelion again. Prices are very decent indeed.

I cannot think of anything that I did not like about my stay.
