They were under construction and we were not informed, just took it in stride.

Everything was clean and presentable.

Beds were not the greatest.We could feel the lumps

We booked a suite room for ocean view. Spacious room. Bathroom is clean. Bed sheets are nice and soft. Plenty of towels, there’s two mini fridge in the room. Staffs are helpful, they even have a luggage storage to keep you stuff while waiting for your room. Nice ocean view at the restaurant.

Noisy Hotel! Cars and train noise all night long! The hotel looks old from the outside, but the room we stayed in was much newer than expected, which was a good thing. After booking, we received a message saying there was scaffolding around the window. I let it pass because we couldn’t cancel the booking anymore. I replied asking if our window would be blocked, since I specifically booked the room for the ocean view, but they never replied. Again, I let it go because canceling was no longer an option. We did get an ocean and city view. Check-in was at 4 PM. We went out to see the town and came back around 10 PM to rest — but oh dear! The train didn’t stop running until past midnight, and the street was extremely busy with cars all night. It finally got quiet around 2 AM, and that’s when we managed to fall asleep. At 8:30 AM, we were woken up by loud banging, drilling, and construction noises from above us. Check-out time was 11 AM. I really wish they had warned us ahead of time — we would have taken our loss and stayed somewhere else. When we were checking out, there was an angry couple in the lobby complaining about the noise, and honestly, I would have done the same if I had more energy. The beach view is really nice, but if you look closely, there’s a lot of debris and trash around. The mountain view, however, is really beautiful.

Very bad wi fi, not acceptable. Hallway floors were filthy, almost most black.

The CP Ventura is in a PRIME location, is lovely, has good food, is close to restaurants and shopping and the BEACH and PIER are outstanding! The STAFF are awesome!

Parking was a problem, if valet is the only option they should of had more staff. The breakfast was delicious and staff friendly.

Could use a face-lift.

Room was perfect, comfortable, clean, spacious, modern.

Lobby chaotic. Too few elevators, and they were slow. Lobby-adjacent restaurant had good food and service, but tables and floor area were unattractive, shabby, dirty and sticky.
