Kasbah Ait Ben Moro

For me this was one of the most memorable stays in any hotel ever. It is was not the most comfortable one but it gave me a feeling as if I have travelled in the time. We stayed one night in a normal room and then got an upgrade to the two-room suit in the tower. The first room was also good but the second one was just amazing. It has even a fireplace in the living room that we could light on. The windows are rather small (obviously, since it is a Kasbah) but the views from windows are amazing (in both rooms that we stayed), and there is a beautiful and peaceful Garden in the backside of the Kasbah. The staffs are friendly and helpful. We also met the owner, a very friendly and open person who did an incredible job to renovate and keep this Kasbah in good shape for over 20 years.

A large Kasbah on the main road about 20k east of Ousazezet near the Oasis village of Skoura. The place is built like a castle lots of rooms and a lovely garden and swimming pool at the back with views over the oasis. We had the a room at the top of one of the turrets. A comfortable room with a separate lounge and shower room. The food was good and it makes a good stopping off place for those driving down to the desert. To reach it is about 4.5 hours driving from Agadir.

Kasbah Ait Ben Moro Sakoura Located off the main road although you have to look for the sign. A large fortress kasbah which dates back the 16th Century a nice swimming pool and gardens to the rear of the building. We stayed in the tower top room with a separate bath room and lounge. The room was good although the stone steps would be hard work if you had any disability, it felt like ascending the stairs of a lighthouse. There are plenty of rooms on the ground floor. The place is full of atmosphere and has been well restored.
