Location. Quiet at night

Cosy Sintra offers a relatively good balance between price and comfort. In my opinion, one of the advantages is being located in a quiet and peaceful area at night. However, the facilities have some deficiencies that are practically unacceptable for this level of accommodation, mainly because they are anomalies that could be resolved at low cost and (of course) with some common sense. For example: A shower installed in a bathtub where the partition separating the shower from the rest of the bathroom covers only a third of the shower space and, moreover, the furthest part from the shower, making it impossible to shower without flooding the entire bathroom floor. Is it so difficult to see that this is a senseless solution that only causes inconvenience to guests? There are no sockets to charge a cell phone, neither near the bedside tables nor near the larger table in the room; There is only one light next to the exit door of each room. The room lighting is so dim that it makes it impractical to read or work even for a short time inside the room. When you enter the room and turn on the light switch, the entire room remains almost in semi-darkness. There is no ceiling lighting; only small, weak lamps next to the bed and another one on the larger table, whose beam of light does not exceed about 30 cm. You can only sleep! There is no accessible power outlet or, at least, an extension cord where you can plug in a laptop, for example. On the last day of my last stay, there was no hot water in the shower in the early morning. When I complained, I was informed that there was a problem with the boiler that was only detected when a staff member arrived at the premises in the morning. In fact that the premises, which are of considerable size and with many rooms, do not have permanent staff and and there is no one to check or correct any anomaly. In summary, in addition to poor facility design, there is a significant lack of common sense and consideration for customers.
