"Disappointing Experience for a Wild Life Photographer."

Property is clean and pleasant.

Bedroom ceiling fans are noisy and not balanced. Switch these off, to sleep and rather perspire. The game drive rangers are young and inexperienced. Permitting babies on game drives and patrons chattering worse than gramophones about their jobs was the modus operandi. FYI, a private game drive will set you back R4,500.00 for 2.5 hours on enquiry. A night game drive only departs from the Hotel at 20h00. This will require you to travel after dark. I would not recommend Mabula game drives for wildlife photographers, unless your photographic equipment consists of a mobile phone and shop talk is your thing...

We were not aware that you needed to book game drives before you even arrive or lose out! No self drive doesnt suit me. Game ranger wasnt that clued up on animals - not linked with other vehicles to help locate animals. Lions, cheetahs etc are in a separate section / no shop close by to purchase forgotten things - milk bread etc.
