The host's warmth and willingness to help as well as the incredible breakfast The views were simply stunning

The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and kept us well fed during our stay. The terrace right outside our room had an amazing view over the hills.

We had some issues with stinkbugs, unfortunately very common in September also in private spaces. The inner yard was closed due to repairs, so we had to look for parking spots a bit further away up the hill.

The location was great, everything was within distance. Rita and her husband are extremely friendly and helpful, her kindness is amazing and answered all our questions. Rita and her family have restored the castle and tries to keep the castle as it was in it's original state. Her passion and time investment to achieve this task is amazing. A real lady of the castle. There is even a library, unique old piano and billiard. All restored. The breakfast was very nice and super good as well. Rita baked a fresh peach pie with chocolate and is always around to take care for us with advice, suggestion for sight seeing things and what to do around the village. She organized a free tour in the wine cellars and advised some good restaurants. This was definitely one of hour best stays during years of travelling! And we loved our stay every minute! We will definitely return one day. Mark
