It was close to Viktors restaurant and the bars - very central for Israeli backpackers

the staff is very rude!! They tried to rip off our friend, constantly bothered us with odd requests and blamed us for things we didnt do, the rooms werent that clean even after they were supposedly clean

Breakfast was great

Everything was broken, the AC, the table, the Chair...

Location is perfect and the host / manager of 20 years is very accommodating to each and every need be it big or small

I can’t say we disliked anything

The room was spacious, with two fridges, a large bathroom, and air conditioning. It was also convenient that the electricity worked continuously without needing a key card. The hotel is in a great location and relatively quiet. Breakfast was very good.

Vang Vieng experiences occasional power outages, so sometimes there’s no electricity. Of course, that’s not the hotel’s fault—but it does mean no AC and no running water during those times. On our second day, a staff member stopped us and asked if we had paid—without even greeting us or asking our names. It felt a bit rude and intrusive, especially since we didn’t know who she was, as it happened in the hallway. That said, if you’ve traveled a bit around Southeast Asia, you’ll know that sometimes, as a tourist, you can feel like a walking ATM.
