Mary Suites Chania

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was very clean, and the living room and bathroom were surprisingly spacious. The bedroom is on the smaller side, but the bed was so comfortable that we had no problem sleeping well every night. The kitchen was well equipped, including a mini-fridge, which was very useful. Both the living room and bedroom had their own AC unit, but we found the one in the living room strong enough to cool down the entire place. The living room also had a large TV (around 1m diagonal) with Netflix and YouTube, which we used in the evenings. The host was absolutely exceptional – she checked in with us every day to ask if there was anything she could do to improve our stay. We asked for some beach towels and a sun umbrella (it unfortunately ended up being damaged bt the strong winds of Elafonissi), and she provided them right away. She also gave us small tips about what to do in Chania, which we really appreciated. Even though she doesn’t speak English, the written communication was impeccable and very easy to understand. One of the most important things for me was the lack of noise, and the apartment delivered on that. The bedroom faces another building, so the only sounds we noticed came through the balcony and living room from passing cars, but it was just background noise and never once disturbed our sleep (we usually slept between 1 am and 9 am without any problem). The location is also excellent: both Nea Chora Beach and the Old City are within a 10–15 minute walk. We really felt the reviews we read before booking were accurate, and we left very happy with our stay.

There honestly wasn't anything we disliked. The apartment checked our boxes and I recommend it to future guests.

l’unica pecca (se proprio là si vuole trovare) è il parcheggio in quanto essendo vicino al centro è difficile da trovare, consiglierei di utilizzare il pezzo di terra accanto al palazzo per un posto parcheggio ai clienti, renderebbe tutto perfetto

Puhas, kõik vajalik olemas, äärmiselt soe inimene on Mary. Abivalmis ja lahendavad ruttu olukorra kui unustasime võtme korterisse jne. Arvestavad soovidega.

From the moment I arrived, I knew I had found something special. The location couldn’t have been better — everything was right where I needed it. The apartment was not only beautiful but felt instantly like home, thanks to how spotless and welcoming it was. That’s all down to Mary, who is truly a sweetheart. She looked after the place with such care and went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. It’s rare to find both a perfect apartment and such a kind host — I couldn’t recommend it more! I will be returning next summer! And I can't wait!

There was truly nothing I didn’t like — everything was perfect from start to finish. Saying goodbye to Mary was the hardest part. She went above and beyond in every way, even video calling me to make sure I got home safely. That kind of kindness stays with you — she is such a beautiful person inside and out. I left with a full heart and already look forward to staying with her again next summer.

Mary was very supportive. The apartment was clean and located 3minutes walk from a beach and 10m walk to the old town. Great value for money.

It was a perfect stay. The apartment was very clean and it has all the utilities you will need. It's close to the beach and to the old city. Mary is an excellent host. She also provided us beach towels on my request. If we ever come back to Chania we will definitely stay here again.
