White Tree Lodge

the hosts were very welcoming and the cabin lodge vibe was very nice. the food is the best! the car ride services are very nice for those traveling on public transport.

Hayden and Saki were phenomenal hosts. Hayden picked us up from Madarao Kogen hotel and took us to the lodge. Once we settled in, he shuttled us to Tangram Ski Circus to rent our gear and check out the slopes/hotel. Once we were done there, he came back and shuttled us all back to the lodge. He continued throughout our entire weekend to shuttle us as needed to the Tangram Ski Circus. There is a lift located about 5 minutes walking distance from the lodge which connects to the Tangram Ski Circus and runs until 4:00pm. Hayden also provides snowboarding lessons, which we took advantage of, and he was great with our kids. My son was a little more advanced so Hayden took him on the lift for a couple of runs down the slope. The breakfast there is great! They offer a hot plate along with an assortment of cereal/oats and yogurt, homemade bread and jams, and of course, coffee, juice and water. The log house is rather spacious and very cozy. They have a 3 burner stove, microwave and a decent sized fridge/freezer. The bedroom is on the first floor with 2 beds and the loft on the second floor has 5 beds with 3 additional mattresses available. We brought our own food to cook but The White Tree Lodge offers a menu if you choose to not bring food to cook. Overall, we completely enjoyed our time there and plan on returning next year. I want to thank Hayden and Saki for being such gracious hosts and providing exceptional hospitality.

Family run. You get the impression they really care about you. Nothing was a problem, they wentit well out of their way to please.

Nothing really

This is a family run lodge where they went out of their way to make our stay a good one. Food was amazing and the proximity to the lift a real bonus, as was the local knowledge. The newly fitted Onsen was perfect to relax in after a day on the slopes. Would definitely return.

The home-styled atmosphere was amazing, the friendliness of the owners/staff was second to none. When we got there, the house was impeccably clean, beds were very comfortable, and the fireplace definitely made the homey feeling better.

We loved everything about this home away from home! Our lodge was clean, well equipped and warm with plenty of space for us all to spread out. Haydn and Saki were amazing hosts, and looked after us so well with wonderful food, advice and transfers. Recommend you stay here!
