Niseko Highland Cottages

We stayed a few days and absolutely enjoyed it! We stayed at cottage B which is a two bedroom house with two sitting rooms. One of the sitting rooms can be converted to a bedroom. There were only three of us so it was a little pricey for us (on top of the premium for being in Niseko). It was worth it as the property is really well maintained, very clean, has all facilities that made our stay so comfortable. It has a ski equipment area, wash machine, rice cooker etc. No matter how cold it gets, it feels so nice and cosy in the house. it is a family run business - we experienced snow storm and the son worked very hard to remove the snow regularly to ensure our car doesn’t get stuck. He was always responsive to our questions and kindly booked a few things for us. There are a few onsen and restaurants all within a short drive away.

You will need a car for staying at this property. We knew it when we booked, and enjoyed driving to and from the ski lifts (less than 10mins drive) as it gave us the freedom of time.

Good Location NHC is a clean, bright cosy, modern beautiful retreat. Host was helpful n friendly. We loved the place n would definitely look forward to our next stay soon.

It's a cosy, clean and warm cottage. Location wise it is pretty near the 3 ski resorts - Annupuri, Niseko Village & Hirafu. Very quiet

Clean, bright, modern, well-appointed. Easy drive to all the local hills. We had great staff interactions- helpful, kind, knowledgeable! Private, quiet and good for families.

Minor things that are more of a personal taste I suppose- the beds are firmer than is my preference but I’ve found many Japanese beds to be this way. The duvet comforters and pillows are excellent! I think it would be great to have a heated shed on the property for waxing and scraping skis/boards, mounting bindings etc. maybe with a locker assigned for each cottage.

Very clean and wonderful management. They really are available for any questions and help when needed.

Watarusan was extremely helpful. He answered our questions immediately. He helped us book restaurant and when I was late on car rental (Nissan rent a car only speak Japanese) Watarusan called and asked Nissan to hold my car rental contract. Watarusan clean up the snow when we had a big snow day. The property is near to ski area Hirafu Annupuri Hilton ski areas

Fabulous views and well stocked

Wataru-san was extremely helpful and friendly. We like the entire apartment, the very powerful washer cum dryer, the beautiful Mt Yotei view and the cleanliness of the apartment. The beds were clean and comfortable. All in all, we like everything about it and the location too (10-min away from the busy Hirafu yet accessible and quieter ambiance) It will be be perfect if it has 2 bathrooms instead of one :) We will surely be back again.. see you Wataru-san.
