Rooms were quite hot . No air con

This was a nice place to stay while passing through the area located in a quiet setting. We were able to store our bicycles in the back yard out of view. There was a great Vietnamese restaurant within walking distance.

Hotel Brunnenhof is quiet and clean and provided everything I needed for a week-long stay. Abdullah, who takes care of the housekeeping duties, was fantastic. My room had a small porch leading out into the back yard, where there is a picnic area. One crucial point: The English-language description of the hotel on Expedia has not been updated since the pandemic, and it needs to be. The hotel is now run in a (mostly) contact-free manner and no longer provides breakfast. In order to get into the hotel, you will need to phone the staff to get a code, which you enter into a lockbox in order to get your key. The instructions outside the hotel door are exclusively in German, which was fine for me (I speak German well) but may confuse other foreign guests. I do not have international roaming on my phone, and I made the mistake of going to the hotel first before buying a SIM card—which led to some comedy when I discovered I had to phone the hotel in order to get my key! (A local café owner helped out—I highly recommend the Eiscafé am Obertor.) If you are in a similar situation, get your SIM card before you go to the hotel. Once I actually got into the hotel, the week I spent there was pretty much flawless.

Lovely interior and spotlessly clean

No food. No food for self service breakfast and no staff !!! Tragedy really as super clean place.

The hotel informed me the night before my stay that they did not have my booked rooms available. I had to cancel through no fault of my own and the hotel still charged me the full amount and took the money from my account. This was a scam and they still have not refunded my money. Absolutely unfair and fraudulent behavior.

Sehr hellhörige Unterkunft. Beim Nachbarzimmer lief die ganze Nacht der Fernseher. An Schlaf war kaum zu denken. Bis 23 Uhr darf zudecken mit Fluglärm gerechnet werden. Für eine Nacht ist es wahrscheinlich okay, aber für länger würde ich es nicht empfehlen.

Alles so wie gewünscht

Excellent hotel. Very clean and quiet. There are bus and train nearby. Beautiful small city. Strong recommend 👍
