Pension Lanpou

The rock onsen is amazing. But must of all is the kindness of the host! We had a great time around Mt Fuji.

Some of the other rooms next to us where a little loud.

The host was very kind and helpful (I could use the bicycles for an easy commute 😊). The area is peaceful and quite. Also, the onsen facility is well taken care of.

Take it as a kind reminder: don’t expect a pijama/yukata in the room nor a TV.

The rotenburo was very very nice! It was the best value for the property. The staff also was very friendly and nice!

We arrived to Kawaguchiko at night and there were no buses at that hour that stops at the place where the hotel is located. Fortunately the owner came to us, and drive us in his car to the hotel.

Because of the window glass of my room wasn't well fixed to the wall. The engine of the air conditioning of the neighbour made my window vibrate, making an awful sound the hole night.

The onsen was great,we had it all to ourselves and it was great. The host was also very kind and suggested nice places to go.

Outdoor bath was very nice, although some guests didn’t adhere to the five person limit, or understand how to use the showers. The owner was excellent, extremely helpful and always willing to accommodate and help with local suggestions and bookings.

For me, there was a little too much noise transfer through the door/walls. Anytime someone closed a door it seemed to rattle my bedroom window. The bed also seemed to slope to one side. If you don’t have a car, the location might be too isolated.
