Peccato il caldo eccessivo ma non imputabile alla struttura

Abbiamo scelto questa struttura per gli ultimi 3 giorni del nostro tour della Sicilia occidentale in modo da avere un punto di appoggio non troppo distante da cefalù ma allo stesso tempo che ci permettesse di stare lontani dal casino. Scelta azzeccata in pieno, posto incantevole e immerso nella natura con dei proprietari veramente in gamba e una piscina stupenda. Consigliato soprattutto a chi vive in città e vuole prendersi qualche giorno di relax nella natura ma al contempo a 10 minuti di macchina dal mare.

Once we found the place in its extraordinary landscape with mind-blowing views, we had a lovely time. Sat-nav was tricky at the tail-end of the journey but that's all part of the adventure. We were welcomed with espressos surrounded by 'Four O'Clock' flowers opening out! The owners could not have been more friendly, helpful and accommodating, really sweet and kind. English isn't really spoken here but we all got by communicating somehow. They work so hard tending the gorgeous garden, the rooms, pool, cats and land as well as producing our gorgeous breakfast which ranged from still-warm homemade cakes and biscuits, scrambled eggs, sometimes ham and prosciutto, tomatoes with oil and oregano, freshly picked fruits and then gave us foil to wrap the cakes and biscuits up each day for our travelling round the area. There was a useful drying rack on everyone's balcony and the views from our balcony made you feel like you were on top of the world! There are a lot of towns, churches and archeological sites to visit in the vicinity as well as Cefalu cathedral which is extraordinary. Cefalu itself is very touristy but it's still worth visiting. We liked nearby Santa Stefano di Camastra and all its ceramics shops plus nice small local restaurants serving fish and seafood pasta and bars for granita, gelato etc. Supper is good at the guest house too and saves going out on the roads at night. The portions they serve are incredibly generous and everything is done with love. We would definitely stay here again. You must have a car to travel about in.

Maybe the pool isn't the best but it was still good to cool off in and have a swim in.

La climatisation pas assez efficace.

Cena abbondante a 25 € (sebbene ci sia stato imposto di cenare alle 19 perchè altri ospiti volevano cenare a quell'ora) e colazione con prodotti fatti in casa (marmellate/confetture e un'intera torta di mele i cui resti viene poi consentito di portarli con se). Camera fornita di minifrigo e climatizzatore. Letto comodo

Al mattino non arrivava l'acqua calda, ed ho quindi dovuto uscire dalla doccia, rivestirmi e andare in cerca dei gestori, che diciamo che hanno rimediato (in realtà l'acqua calda andava e veniva).

We were warmly welcomed by kind and generous hosts who take great pride in their property, and are keen to share it with guests. Despite the language barrier, with the help of google translate, we were able to understand each other and had lots of laughs. Cherubina served abundant breakfasts with fresh produce from the farm and kindly offered us leftovers for the day. The pool was lovely, and although the wellness centre isn’t open yet, the setting is peaceful and relaxing with wonderful views. Don’t miss the fresh spring water at the entrance to the property - perfect for refilling bottles. We appreciated the generous check in and out times (2pm in and 11am out).

Mosquitoes can be an issue on warm, damp days. The property is a little isolated, so a car Is recommended.

We had a truly wonderful stay! The property is set in a calm, relaxing environment surrounded by nature – the perfect place to unwind. Every morning, we were treated to an amazing breakfast with freshly baked cupcakes or cake, scrambled eggs, and a variety of homemade marmalades. The owner made our stay extra special. She welcomed us warmly, surprised my wife and daughters with small gifts, and even came to personally say goodbye when we were leaving. We also loved our private terrace with its beautiful view. The swimming pool was another highlight, perfect for cooling off and enjoying the surroundings. Thank you for such a memorable experience – we hope to return someday!

Not a fault of property-> Aggressive mosquitoes- try to bring some repelent

Our stay at L’Uliveto was a wonderfully unique experience like being welcomed into someone’s home and treated like a returning friend, whilst at the same time being unobtrusive and peaceful. As soon as we arrived and I saw the stunning garden dripping in colourful pots and flowers with the olive grove and lemon tree backdrop, I knew we were in for a treat. The welcome on the stunning terrace where we were instructed to be ‘tranquil’ set the pace for the rest of our stay. As our hosts ran around cooking, cleaning and tending to their land – we relaxed into a new pace of life. The rooms are traditional Italian style and our view was stunning and the bed extremely comfortable. The pool was beautiful and hard to stay away from, surrounded by stunning countryside, views and more beautiful planting, it is a huge asset. The icing on the cake has to be the food. Cooked fresh every day by our wonderful hosts the breakfast has to be seen to be believed – what you don’t eat you can take away to keep you going for the day. Homemade jams and bread are followed by sweet treats fresh from the oven and eggs from their own chickens. Dinner is an absolute steal and cannot recommend enough. The food just keeps on coming and was by far the best food we had in our whole Sicilian trip. Home cooked from the land and rich in flavour you absolutely definitely will not go hungry! We stayed for 5 days and we loved our hosts. They were absolutely wonderful and we were so sad to leave. The farmhouse is just stunning, it’s like another world. If we are back in Sicily we will go our of our way to stay here again. With lots of thanks for the fabulous memories we’ve packed up like our tin foiled lemon biscuits and will keep with us forever.

Bien situé autour de Cefalu

Un cadre exceptionnel !! Tout était parfait : nous avons été accueilli avec une boisson et un gâteau maison. Nous n’avons malheureusement pas dîner ici car nous avions d’autres plans mais si nous revenons nous testerons avec plaisir Petit-déjeuner maison au top Les hôtes sont incroyablement gentils, bienveillants. Ils sont aux petits soins. Ils sont dans le partage: nous avons goûter un limoncello maison : très bon !! Ils produisent beaucoup de fruits et de légumes. Nous regrettons de ne pas avoir séjourné plus longtemps ici notre meilleur hébergement de la Sicile . La chambre mais aussi toutes les parties communes sont très propres. Ma fille de six ans a reçu un petit cadeau 🎁 merci encore Bonne continuation à vous
