The lobby smelled like weed all the time. The room was disgusting and dirty, probably not cleaned in this century—not even a little. The bedsheets were full of hair of all different types and sizes. The white towel had earwax stains all over it, the shower curtain was moldy and yellow from dirt and probably urine, and the whole room smelled horrible. All the furniture had stains and patches; I didn’t even dare to touch it. The wallpaper was peeling and melting down all over the walls. One time, the key card failed to open the room door. I went to reception and the guy gave us another card, but he didn’t even ask us to prove our identity to make sure we were requesting the right room. He actually gave us a card for the wrong door, and when we went back and told him it wasn’t working, he just laughed about it. The only positive is that there were no bed bugs, and we didn’t get robbed. The neighborhood isn’t so bad though—no sketchy faces. The location is realistically 45–60 minutes from Manhattan. Late at night, the bus from the nearest subway station runs only every 30–40 minutes, so missing one is really painful. I strongly suggest that anyone considering staying here pay a little more and look for another place. I’d definitely do the same.

Nothing at all was liked

I was giving three different rooms due to issues with the first two rooms. The first room had no working heat or AC, it was dirty/smelled. The second room the door was not able to be opened even with a staff assisting and it was even dirtier than the previous room and it wasn’t livable. The third room also smelled and bathroom ceiling was caving in, holes in the curtain, the microwave didn’t work, and the furniture in the room was nonfunctional, holes in the wall etc.

The room was not clean; the conditions were unpleasant.

Leider war unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel sehr enttäuschend. Das Zimmer war bei unserer Ankunft deutlich verschmutzt: Die Bettwäsche war nicht frisch, das Zimmer insgesamt ungepflegt und es fehlten Handtücher. Zusätzlich erhielten wir trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage keine Rechnung. Uns wurde stattdessen fälschlicherweise mitgeteilt, dass die Rechnung von Booking.com ausgestellt werden müsse, was nicht stimmt. Ein derart schlechtes Erlebnis hatten wir bisher noch nie. Aufgrund der mangelnden Sauberkeit, des schlechten Services und der irreführenden Auskünfte können wir dieses Hotel leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

It’s really not a nice hotel in any way. Sheets were very thin for winter, and seemingly no way to make the room warmer.
