Hotel Tayko Bilbao

Excellent location on the edge of the old town. Room wasn’t spacious but it was nice, clean and well equipped. Staff were very helpful and friendly. One evening we hadn’t been left any hand towels but a quick call to reception was met with an apologetic response and a quick delivery of the towels plus two bathrobes! Ola restaurant is a must do if you are staying here. Welcome drink was a nice touch too

Only constructive feedback is that the door stop was a bit of a hazard in our room as you couldn’t help but stub your toe on it if going to the wardrobe We needed up covering it up with a hat!

Liked almost everything. Staff was great and very helpful and friendly.

What I found lacking was a comfortable seating area downstairs/bar area for reading, chatting and socialising. The lounge on the 7th floor is more suited to working as it is isolated and quiet.

Super clean and comfortable, great bed and shower. Gym was sufficient for a light workout. Staff was excellent. Breakfast is high quality.

After 4 nights in Bilbao, we realized the old city is not the best location (unlike most other European cities), but the location is still good.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Ideal for the old town and walkable to the Guggenheim. Well appointed rooms.

Only one criticism in that the bedside table was very small but the rooms are well appointed.

the location of the hotel is excellent. You can walk to the Guggenheim and you're in Old Town so there are many places to eat and interesting things to see very close to the hotel.

The room was a little too industrial and cold for my taste but it was clean as was the bathroom.

Excellent location on edge of Old Town, accessible to all by foot, clean, comfortable, and spacious. Comfortable beds and wonderful blackout curtains. Very helpful staff.

Parking location is accessible but definitely not the safest. Would be nice to have a lounge on the main floor.
