Hotel El Rullo

Breakfast disappointing and morning staff surly. Only 2 slices of toast and tea/coffee provided. Had to ask for fruit juice. No buffet or fresh fruit offered. Set time of 9am, with no flexibility.

See above. Confusion over my dietary requirements, though hotel had been informed weeks in advance.

The room was very nice and clean with a fab view.

The parking! If you use the correct parking location, it’s a huge distance uphill to the hotel. We used a carpark close by but at risk of police clamping apparently 😳 There are a couple of very steep steps into the accommodation which would be difficult with any mobility issues. There was also an issue with our arrival time (along with another couple) and the hotel was closed. We rang and a lady came after a short while to let us in.

I stayed for 15 nights on a cycling camp and the staff were amazing. They didn’t speak English but made communicating easy and always very helpful. Staff made you feel welcome and nothing was too much to ask for. Great value for money

Clean

The hotel's description as having "soundproof rooms" is rather misleading. Their "soundproof" in reality means that you will hear from the other rooms other guests conversations, running TV or somebody flushing the toilet etc. Internet was not provided. There are some WiFi available, but when I asked for password I was given details of WiFi which neither my phone nor my laptop could even find. Since nobody speaks English there I did not really bother to clarify and used my mobile data insted (unfortunately in my room mobile signal was not so good, so it was rather slow).

Good location, a few meters from the castle and in the historic center of the village

The breakfast was served from 9:00 AM. The Staff communicated only in the Spanish language. Not able to park in front of the hotel. I had to park the car 5 minutes away.

Problem parking ,can only offload bags outside hotel. Then need to park bear bottom of village.We got a ticket from the Police

This was unsurpassed. Room not big, but very comfortable. You have all needed, including minibar, tooth kit, fresh and soft towels etc. As bonus you will get a dizzying view of the area. Thanks staff, I enjoyed it!!!

Fantastic location, very clean with excellent food in the restaurant

It’s a resident only zone so visitor parking is about 10 minutes walk away. The steps into the hotel need a handrail. I unfortunately fell!

People were very friendly and helpful. It was clean and the air conditioner worked really well.

It was difficult to get there.
