Hotel-Café "Schauinsland"

Super nice staff, very comfortable beds, excellent green location

This is my second stay - more to follow. If your required to be in this area then this is the best place to stay. Great breakfast with good service. safe parking with a short drive to the nearest town.

I didn't have enough free time to full explore the area.

Internet upload was quite slow, but due to be fixed shortly. The food in the restaurant is superb, and so was the host (Caroline) one of the hardest workers in Germany. I would advise the steak and mushroom main course, and don't miss the breakfast. Just about to book my second visit.

No kettle in room but had my own.

An incredibly charming hotel on the edge of a green meadow. The rooms are pleasant, the staff is welcoming and the cakes are wonderful, really at the highest level. exemplary!

This hotel / café / restaurant is a little gem to which I / we will certainly come back. The location is just awesome, with a fantastic garden in which some chickens and rabbits ander freely. In the back there are horses. You can sit in the sun or in the shade and have a drink or even your complete dinner (as we did). It's very relaxing. Inside the building it's just fantastic with many authentic details, it all has a very welcoming and cosy atmosphere. Dinner at night was just great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The next morning we were served a very nice breakfast - yes served, we did not have to get anything ourselves - what a luxury. I will definitely come back here, maybe even spend a few nights, just romatically together with my wife. I highly recommend this place !

Quaint little house close to the country side. Takes about 20mins by foot to reach the Center of the town. Great for walks in the area. Great overall service and friendliness.

Some problems with WiFi and electricity, but nothing that bothered me seriously.
