Hampton Inn & Suites Jekyll Island

The room was clean and comfortable. We had a room overlooking the pool which we enjoyed. The walk to the beach was easy and the beach is beautiful.

I would like to have had a drink to enjoy by the pool from the hotel bar, however I could not get anyone to wait on me. There was only 1 person working and I think she or he was preparing food in the back. I finally gave up after waiting around for a few minutes.

Location was very good and seemed more private than some. Beach access was good

Arrived at 3 pm. Room was not ready. Returned around 3:50 and another room was assigned to us. On the 20th we put our luggage in our car around 8:30 but did NOT check out. We returned to our room at 9:30 and the cleaning personnel were in there. Check out time was 11:00. I always like to inspect room to make sure nothing is left behind. Very disappointed.

A very pleasant hotel, and the rooms are quite interesting. The breakfast was delicious. You might think scrambled eggs are just scrambled eggs—but no, they really were tasty.

No body wash, fire alarm waking me up- no communication during this ordeal from staff

Great location and spacious rooms.

Difficulty reaching front desk staff when calling from room. Not as clean as would have liked. A/C did not cool to preferred temp.

Nice facilities. Pretty good breakfast. Great location. Bikes provided to ride around the island , as well as a shuttle service.

The bar closed pretty early. Also, the batteries in the television were dead.

Staff was amazing. Room was very clean and comfortable. Loved being able to walk out the backdoor and have access to the beach.
