The Volare, an Ascend Collection Hotel

This facility has one and one only saving grace. Tony, the front desk associate. All the staff, including management, she is the only one with enough experience and intelligence to understand the importance of customer service.

The overwhelming “can’t do “attitude of the management, and staff left all of us feeling as if we were not the customers at all, and our concerns were not their problem. The empowerment of trainees to handle things that they were not capable of handling made simple requests impossible. They seem to be very happy with one another, and the guests were not impressed.

Excellent location, walking distance to restaurants, shops and the pier.

One bed was a little too soft, but that is personal preference.

The visibility of the hotel is awesome. I seldom needed a map, because I could see the hotel from any point in the near vicinity. There were countless shops and restaurants within walking distance. The parking was convenient.

The televisions are not smart televisions.

Price was great, location was spot on and it was very clean and quiet! Great sunsets from the ocean facing rooms
