1863 Inn of Gettysburg

Great location, right next door to the Jennie Wade house and near several local shops.

Beds were not the most comfortable

Breakfast was very good, many choices of what you could have and everything was very good.

Could have used a little heavier extra blanket for bed as it was more like a sheet.

Our room on the top (5th) floor was clean and well presented with everything that we needed. Room was serviced on a daily basis, although on the last day of our three night stay the beds weren't made, and a note was left saying they hadn't been made due to "personal items laft on the beds" which we'd actually specially made sure there wasn't anything left on the beds? The view from the room and the passageway was absolutly amazing! Car parking was easy without any issues, and the "included" breakfast was one of the best we've expeienced in countless hotels throughout the USA.

Beds could have been a bit more comfortable, not the best that I've ever slept in, and a bigger screen, newer TV set with HD would have been welcomed.

Breakfast was great. In my many years of travel it was the best hotel/motel provided breakfast I have had. I would highly recommend it.

Quaint hotel which is situated next to the haunted Jennie Wade house. Easy walking to different shops and eateries. Room was ok. Shower was really HOT at full blast and the bathroom was large. Beds were VERY uncomfortable, but I am a self-proclaimed bed and pillow snob. Bed was hard and pillows were too squishy and flat. Small TV (for those who are interested, but we didn't watch it.) We were on the 3rd deck and it was near the smoking area, which led to us smelling smoke the first night. It seemed to dissipate the next two nights. Breakfast was ok, but filling. We had no paranormal experiences, much to the chagrin of my teen twins. The price couldn't be beat though to be close to a lot of downtown Gettysburg.
