Decatur Conference Center and Hotel

Hotel looked amazing,staff was friendly,location was good

I didn't like how various things were broken in our rooms,iron didnt work,the remote didnt work....1 of my rooms had to be relocated to a different room bcuz the tv was not working...to make things worse they ran out of towels,luckily we had a few of our own towels to still be able to shower daily.... contacted management with no resolution at all.....this is how they treat customers that had to drive over 10 hrs to arrive at their hotel....no type of compensation was provided at all!!!!

The staff was great!!!! The Breakfast was amazing!!

It was rundown! The bed was uncomfortable and the sheets were soooo thin, the remote didn’t work to the tv( could not change the channel), the blow dryer was gross and was stuck on high!!! The hot tub was out of service!! There was loud music playing most of the night and people running up and down the halls!!

The front desk person was a bit rude. On the photos it looks way better than in person. It’s definitely an old hotel and it has a creepy atmosphere. It was very empty and some hallways were completely dark throughout the building. The closet had moisture bags in it and they were full. I was traveling alone for work and it made me feel a bit unsafe. I recommend staying at one of the more known hotels in the area if you’re traveling alone.

Clean room

Horrible super loud music and car wheels squealing in the parking lot late sat night and Sunday morning. Unable to sleep. Terrible pillows like bricks. Broken hair dryer. Requested a replacement along with new towels. No delivery. Will NEVER stay there again.

I booked a double queen room. To save on occupant space not realizing it would cost more, because I didn't think to ask. The bathoom floor was soaked after plugging the bathtub drain to soak my feet. Julia was wonderful and cleaned it up for me. The event space in the PPG room was entirely too cold. I would give this place a second try if the need arises.
