Decatur Conference Center and Hotel

Somewhat run down.

Elegant, clean, great breakfast and breakfast attendant

Very abandoned areas, hot tub out of service

breakfast is HORRIBLE!! theres no hot tub anymore and they charge way to much for no hot tub and horrible food

For a single it was a little weird. I stopped on a Sunday. This complex is huge and there wasn’t but maybe 10 cars. The reception desk isn’t close to the hotel part, so it didn’t feel very safe to me. The fire alarm kept going off every 2 to 3 hours. Thankfully it didn’t happen at night, but no one was around to let anyone know what was happening. Plus it’s kind of out in the middle of nowhere Decatur.

The hotel is beautiful on the inside. It was kept clean at all times. But it did have some problems

Property seemed like it needed cleaned/landscaped better .

The photo on Expedia was not accurate and probably 20 years old. The property was desolate and dilapidated, overgrown lawn, crumbling sidewalks/parking lot, and doors locked. Nothing was around the hotel besides a gas station for 2 miles. I didn’t feel safe enough to get out of the car. When Expedia reached out to the hotel no one answered. I have never experienced anything like this.

We had a great stay

The staff are great, professional, friendly, helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and the bed was very comfortable. I will stay at this hotel again when I come to see family.
