There was mold in the shower. The pool was green and cloudy.

When I stayed here renovations were being made, January 2026. Pokagon State Park is just a few minutes away from the property. The free breakfast was very good for a hotel at this price point. The Wi-Fi worked well. There is a nice deck/common area in the middle of the property.

Stayed there last year and it was not so good. They did alot of work in the past year to make me want to come back to stay...

Breakfast could be better and deposit sucks when they already have the card.

This place should not be considered a hotel at all—it feels more like a low-class motel. The experience was uncomfortable from the moment we arrived. As soon as we reached the first floor, we were greeted by two very large dogs that were barking aggressively and appeared ready to attack. It was frightening and completely unacceptable for a place claiming to offer guest accommodation.

There was no proper sense of safety, hospitality, or professionalism. Guests should not be put in a situation where they feel threatened just entering the property. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this place, especially to families or anyone concerned about basic safety standards.
