Breakfast

I paid for a room with 2 beds, but got a room with 1 bed. I talked to the front desk about it and they claimed that due to them being fully booked, they couldn't do anything. I made the reservation about a week before arriving to the hotel.

The location was fine and the room was nice.

The exterior was off-putting. The pool area was creepy, dirty, and being a safety professional, the area was in violation of several OSHA codes. The laundry area for the housekeeping was overflowing with dirty laundry and workers congregated outside of one of the side exits to smoke and talk. The breakfast was fine, but what was advertised (eggs, bacon, etc ) was not offered.

The rooms had been upgraded and were clean. Pool was warm!

The entire hotel needs an update. Hallways were very dirty. Looks and smells old. Pool area needs updating. Breakfast was poorly supplied, while we were there multiple things ran out and no one around to refill. So the whole area is what I would call run down so the hotel isn't really out of place here, just don't expect anything better next door either.

Good mini waffles

I like the location and the price. They advertise a hot breakfast, but all they have is waffles at the most.

I really didn’t like that they were cleaning a room for bedbugs right next to my room. I asked if they were ever going to fix the pool or the hot tub and they said no they don’t plan to and they don’t like to spend money even in the summer. They said they don’t plan on making the water slide work it’s sad because this hotel is so cool and they’re really letting it fall apart. There’s a beautiful fountain in the front that doesn’t work that’s getting moldy. This could be the coolest spot but they just don’t want to put the energy into it.

Clean, comfort and staff and manager and breakfast selection were all great. Kids had fun swimming, playing pool and playing in the game area.

Had a few issues we hadn’t had in the past. Booked two rooms. One room had a light blow out and tub wouldn’t drain so had to move room. Once moved no issues. Second room shower knob turned both direction and could not get hot water so took a cold shower after hitting the pool. Did let her manager know to fix before anyone else stayed after us.
