The room was small, especially considering the pull-out couch that opened right up against the bed. The king bed was not very comfortable.

This was my first visit to TownePlace Suites in Edwardsville, IL. My husband & I stayed for 1 night (a Friday) in a queen bed suite & paid $228.85. This was a complimentary upgrade from a king bed studio, thanks to my Gold Elite status. ARRIVAL/CHECK-IN/ROOM: We arrived around 7:30 PM, & it took < 2 minutes to get checked-in. Prior to arrival, I contacted the hotel to request a quiet room on an upper floor. We were grateful to have been assigned corner room #521. • Amenities: Almost anything you might need, except for a luggage rack. • Bath: Plenty of hot water & good pressure; hair dryer available. • Bed: Comfortable bed; we appreciated there being both soft & firm pillows to choose from. • Cleanliness: Very clean; however, the carpet could use a thorough vacuum. • Decor: Standard • Heating/cooling: Worked well • Sound: Interior was very quiet, but you can hear traffic (not bothersome to either of us). • TV: Clear picture, plenty of channels & streaming capabilities. • View: Nothing to note • WiFi: Strong DRINKS/FOOD: • We skipped the free breakfast offered CUSTOMER SERVICE: Excellent, both in-person & via the app chat feature. LOCATION/PARKING: • Location: Close to several restaurants • Parking: Complimentary parking PETS: • We chose this hotel because it's pet friendly. No noise concerns. Would I recommend/stay again? Absolutely! However, it is pricey compared to area hotels.
