Motel 6 La Place, LA

I arrived late evening. The staff was polite and quick to put cribs in the room for twin granddaughters. However, the carpet was dirty, the paint was peeling off the bathroom door, and the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, even though it was labeled 'non-smoking'. Next time I will pay a little bit more and stay somewhere cleaner.

The motel provided a nice night -- our room had no numbers, some of the place felt in need of some touch-ups but overall our room was very nice and the desk clerk was supremely helpful. Just so you know: pets are welcome but the non-refundable fee is $35.00.

Very pleased with the QI; very comfortable and well kept room. Appreciated the fitness center, breakfast and the friendly staff. It's an older facility but well cared for.

It was a okay hotel, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless they weren't staying in the hotel long, like if they only were there for a few hours of sleep and then back on the go. The people are nice but the rooms need to be more clean.

Kinda dated hotel. Comforter had cigarette burns. Good location for travelers. Tv old and not good picture. Nice staff. Kinda pricey for what you get.

Evidently this motel is still on the mend from Hurricane Katrina. What was odd is that nowhere in the office area was any furniture. There was a large enclosed area overlooking over the pool..no furniture. No patio furniture out around the pool either. The lamp on the desk had two CFL bulbs. One of which was hanging down, broken in half. The corners of the bathroom had small piles of dirt in them. The bathroom fan was way to loud as was the wall A/C unit. We could not have stayed here for more than one night. Came late, left early. The hotel was a ghost town, never ddi get anyway close to full.

Good Hotel located in la Place. About 30 mins away from French Quarter in New Orleans.

We stayed one night. It wasn't bad, there were some hair strands in the bathroom, but everything else was fine. Loved they had security cameras.

My husband and I stayed here for my 30th class reunion. The reunion was at the hotel, so the location was perfect. The staff was extremely friendly, the hotel room was comfortable, and the whole experience was perfect.
