Clarion Inn Southern Pines - Pinehurst

Price was very reasonable for my purposes, but my room had cockroaches and evidence of prior bedbug activity beneath my mattress cover. Free breakfast was nearly nonexistent: no hot food, cereal but no milk, not even pastries (raisin toast and mini-donuts don’t count), waffle maker but no syrup (and no milk - see above), apple juice machine only dispensed water. Generally disappointing.

We had to kill at least 3 cockroaches in our room

It was very dirty, roaches everywhere and dirt on the floor. Very gross

There were multiple groups of people grilling out in the parking lot of the hotel, and they left piles of beer cans and other trash in the parking lot. There was a lot of other trash scattered around the property as well. The rooms and the courtyard are well kept, but the back parking lot is unkept and feels very sketchy.

This property was in disrepair and dirty. The only reason we didn’t go somewhere else was because everything else was booked.

Restaurant and bar were cool. Hotel overall is dirty and loud. Walk out and smell weed everywhere and they still have smoking rooms…
