Hakone Onsen Yuyado Yamanoshou

Traditional ryokan feel, great food, relaxing onsen, attentive staff.

The futons were very thin and pillows were hard.

Bellissima struttura antica (Edo come atmosfera ). Onsen privato garantito per una ora al giorno .Poi onsen all'aperto sul quale non posso esprimere parere perché pioveva e la temperatura esterna non era ottimale. Ma a rendere la giornata piacevolissima ottima cena con insieme di almeno 20 piatti scelti con cura e ben abbinati. Tutti con lo yukata sia a cena che a colazione ( talmente ricca da indurmi a pranzare alle 3 p.m.)

La posizione un poco lontana dal centro del paese di Hakone è il suo pregio e il suo difetto. Atmosfera magica che era ciò che cercavo!!!!

I stayed in the hotel for one night, just to relax in the private onsen and experience the night in ryokan. There was an option to use a private onsen for 1 hour, which was great as the weather was cold that day. The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were also tasty - a separate interesting experience. There was an air conditioner in the room and a heater under the table for the cold evenings and nights.

The bathroom was a bit small, but I guess it is normal for old building. It was possible to pay tax and all the extra services only by cash - be aware and bring some when you will travel in Hakone.

Authentic and a very good breakfast and Dinner with service. The private Onsen was good fun especially with the outside pool. The bedroom was a good size. Limited to 2 hangers. The mattress could have been thicker.

Didn’t like carrying the luggage the wooden staircase.

Traditionelles Japan-Feeling mit sehr freundlichem Personal, privatem Onsen und sehr gutem japanischen Frühstück und Abendessen. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und können den Aufenthalt nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Excellent Japanese experience in an old traditional ryokan, with private onsen option hours, nice experience Japanese dinner. Staff were very helpful with us. Recommended 100%

Overall, we had a great stay and nothing really bothered us. The only small issue was that the hotel was a bit far away, which made planning a little harder. We also booked our Shinkansen too early and ended up missing the traditional ryokan breakfast, which we were really excited about.

アパートみたいで、近づいて行くときに少し『あれ？強羅に泊まるのに？』と、残念感がありました。
