Quality Inn Cairo I-57

I get there and check in and seen a sketchy lady walking around asking for a lighter! Pool was trashed and unusable. Hall smelled luke weed. I unloaded my bags and left went on a kayak trip and came back and seen what I assume was a drug deal. Went into room bathtub was leaking paint pulled off the tub everywhere and the room stunk. Loaded my bags back up went to front desk and asked for a refund they said it doesn't matter if I stayed the night or an hour I rented it for the night. Wouldn't give me a refund. Did not feel safe with my daughter there left and went and got another hotel room in another town. Hated to waste the money but didn't want to take the chance. Then at the gas station seen an officer and asked him about the place and he confirmed I made the right decesion to not stay there. Will not be back. And will not stay a hotel international hotel ever again if this is how they treat people.

The first room I was given was dirty, and looked like it had not been cleaned at all. There was food on the floor. The tub had been painted and the paint was chipping. The lady at the front desk was very nice. I explain to her about how my room was, she walked with me back to the room and looked at it and said she would give me another room. The next room that she gave me was much better than the first one. It was clean. The paint in the tub was still chipping a little, but not as bad as in the other room. I was there for two days and overall It was quite comfortable. You can’t beat it for the price and the convenience. It’s right off the interstate. I would probably stay there again.

The outside steel steps to get up to my 2nd floor room was my only complaint. Everything was clean and super nice. The outdoor steps were very inconvenient.

One of the staff was very ruff about the breakfast food she got mad when tryed to take your breakfast to your room and yelled u can’t take it to your room it’s not allowed

The facility is clean and neat.
