Quality Inn Cairo I-57

I was not able to stay there, because they close at 11 PM

The bath tube was filthy and the pool was not open. The pool area was pad locked and the pool had about two foot of dirty green water in it. The outside door coming in to the ground floor where we stayed was proped open all night and durning the day we arrived.

Very rude attendant and not a good location. Misleading information on website.

The lobby was all decorated so cute. The room was good. The bed was comfortable. This is the only hotel in Cairo and considering the economic woes of this area, this is not a bad hotel. It certainly served our purposes well.

The exterior entrance door to the hallway within the hotel was kind of rickety and did not close all the way, which made me think it was never locked, but it was. Even though it appears not to be, you cannot open that exterior without your keycard. The pool was unusable (no water in it) It had dirty water in the very bottom.

Very clean, tidy and comfortable place. Friendly staff. The best Quality Inn I have ever stayed at. Well done.

Good bang for your buck! Price through the app was on point and $25 less than going through the hotel..Room was clean zero complaints on cleanliness except for the carpet that you could feel moisture in which also made the hallway and rooms smell..Get rid of the carpet and put down laminate and I’m pretty sure the smell would go away!

Comfortable room, bed and pillows. Decent breakfast.

Smoke alarm in the room went off at 1:00 a.m. apparently not connected to central alarm system. Lobby locked and no one answered my banging on the door. Hard wired so I had to disconnect from power. In the morning all I got from the staff was, “I’ll note it.”. No apology for the inconvenience. Nothing.

There are very few places to stay in Cairo. The Quality Inn is pretty good considering that the town is not in good shape. The room was large, quiet and clean but aging. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The property is convenient for a visit to Fort Defiance. We were satisfied with this stay.

Much better than average breakfast, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy & waffles, in addition to usual. Very rundown neighborhood. Pile of dirty laundry in hall.
