Hartford Hall on School Lane

My bedroom was v comfortable and I was able to park my car nearby. They welcome dogs. Staff v friendly and helpful.

Lighting in bedroom not bright enough to read my book and no hand rails in the bathroom, needed one for the shower.

Size of the room. Decor. Location. Breakfast was tasty and available untill 12pm which is very rare. Good price. Coffee machine was a nice touch. Staff members we met was helpful and polite. Over all we enjoyed our stay.

Would like to have another chair in the king room. Bathroom needs touch of maintenance: shower head was loose, toilet seat was loose and taps also were loose.

Everything about the room was nice, clean and just what we needed after being at a wedding all day. Had a great sleep. Cup of coffee and check out at 11am was perfect.

Hall ways/corridors a bit tight

The parking was ample and the bar areas looked lovely.

The room was shabby. Decoration was very poor and the shower was awful.

Staff very attentive ,food good and cleanliness first class.

Room was made a little claustrophobic by the size of the enormous bed. No central ceiling lights which gave shaded areas around the room, aggravated in our case by the fact that one of the bedside lights was not working. Bathroom layout could be improved such as nowhere to put your towels whilst having a shower.

The whole ambience of the property. So many different comfortable settings to enjoy a drink anda bite to eat. All the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and ready to help with any queries
