Abendblume

The hotel was beautiful. We really liked the room, the breakfast was excellent and we really enjoyed the jacuzzi. It was my wife’s birthday and they went the extra step and put flowers and chocolates in our room, which we appreciated. I highly recommend this hotel. It was beautiful and very relaxing for us. The staff was there when you needed them, but they did not interfere with our stay. It felt really private, which we like.

The shower was a bit tricky to use. The water pressure was not great. There was no storage in the bathroom for toiletries. A vanity with surface area would be better. But overall the issues were minor.

It was simply fabulous. I thought I was back in Lech, Austria my favourite place in the whole world. I would highly recommend this beautiful place and I hope to return before too long.

The property was nestled in a picturesque spot in the mountainside of Leavenworth. Beautifully manicured with outdoor seating, spa, garden and inside comfy seats near a rustic fireplace. Beautiful view from every spot you were.

My family was looking forward to staying at Abendblume for a night. However, since we showed up with more guests than planned, we were told that we could not stay the night. The owner did offer to refund the room, but charged us anyways when we left. If we had been told that we would be charged regardless, we would have had 2 people stay at the hotel as written on the reservation. However, her shameless lie made us feel comfortable leaving the hotel knowing that we would not be charged for the cancelled booking. It surprised me when we were charged for a stay she clearly cancelled, however, as I did not record our conversation, there is no proof needed to secure a refund through our bank. We've tried to communicate with the manager several times, but have not succeeded in obtaining our refund. I am quite disappointed that a person would blatantly lie to their customer and that she would feel justified to charge someone a few hundred dollars without providing any service. For those who still want to stay at this hotel, we recommend recording all conversations and receiving written proof of all transactions before leaving the property so that others will not be mistreated the same way we were.
