Courtyard by Marriott Loveland Fort Collins

This is a newer hotel, very clean. Staff was very friendly and quick. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable.

I visit Loveland once a month for business and usually go at another hotel (which was full). So, I've decided to try this one. I was disappointed. The garbage bins where still full from the previous occupant and the shower had hair on the walls and ground. What else wasn't clean/replace? sheets? towels? Reported the situation to the employee at reception only to be told he couldn't do anything about it. Everybody can make mistake and so does the cleaning crew, however when mistake are reported they need to be fix. When ask at checkout about my stay, I mentioned the issues and the poor response, hoping they would at least note it in the file... nope it was ignored again.

Cleanliness is a big issue. Someone traveling with me received a room that seem only superficially cleaned and when reporting it, was told nothing could be done about it (there was plenty of remaining empty room). My bed wasn't comfortable at all, it was a long week. We were overcharged for breakfast and parking when most other hotel around include it in their price.

Great hotel

I booked the larger studio with sofa bed because we wanted to have a sitting area. The front desk assigned us to a standard room and insisted that was what I had booked. They later offered me 3,000 extra points for the mistake. Am not thrilled because we almost got ripped off, the front desk staff insisted and didn't want to gave us the correct room. The studio was spacious, so was the bathroom/shower. Which is rare for a hotel and we really liked that. But the carpets and sofa had a lot of stains... kinda bothered me when I sat on it. I coudln't use it after I took a shower... a deep clean is needed. Well I admit that have very high standands for cleanliness.
