Comfort Inn Paramus - Hackensack

The room was fairly large. Internet usually worked well.

Breakfast was marginal; room was too hot; plugs in bathroom didn't work; shower was weak; no blanket on bed -- just a light coverlet.

Was little out of the way only negative at that was good walk but a walk none the same to services

I was pleased with everything

The location was perfect, not too far from the center. The staff especially was really friendly and helpful. (I arrived very late at 1.00 am, and the sir at the reception was still waiting/during breakfast, a lady made sure I had everything I needed/all staff greeted when passing by). The breakfast is also a nice buffet - do not expect a fresh fruit bar, and you will be happy with what you get. The AC was turned on even before my arrival.

The room smelled a bit like tobacco, but nothing major. The price is a bit high when travelling alone, but considering the location, it is entirely understandable.

The breakfast choices were very good! There was a lot of variety and the staff keeps refilling the trays. The staff is very friendly and polite.

The pictures make it look better than it is. The room smelled like old feet. The bathroom doorway has a giant rusted hole at the corner, and I have a crawling toddler so that made me very uneasy. There was a lot of weird and consistent bangs and noises throughout the night, it always sounded like our room door was being banged on or opened, but that wasn't the case.
