The bed was comfortable, the room was relatively clean. The hotel itself was big and nice for the area of Clovis, although a bit dated. Check in staff was friendly, but the check out staff was standoffish.

The room smelled like sewage at times. It wasn't the oil smell that you sometimes get in that area of New Mexico/Texas. It smelled like raw sewage. The breakfast was so-so. Coffee was watery, Gravy for the biscuits was also watery. I doubt we would stay here again.

Conveniently located, nice free hot breakfast. The drinks in the bar at the end of the day were greatly appreciated. Noticed that they had security cameras all around the property (the screens were visible at the front desk) and felt safe traveling alone.

Lobby was nice, courteous and friendly desk person. Bed was comfortable. A/C was not noisy.

There was an ugly smell outdoors, like sewer or cattle yard. Cars were being driven around, peeling off. Muggy odor in the room when first entering. The corroded vent grill on the wall above the toilet was missing a piece, that was creepy.
