The motel is set back from the road, which provides a buffer from the busy road. The room was quite large.

The room had a weird and unpleasant smell. No breakfast, but there is a great diner nearby.

The wifi would not work. They call you at 8am to remind you of check out. People sleep on vacation. No need for a call at 8 am. Not a bad place if you just need to have a place to put your head. A little overpriced for not getting much in return. Also gave only shampoo and no conditioner. That was a nightmare 😂

I’m felt very unsafe when we arrived. Caution tape on the railing on the 3rd floor. The doors didn’t seem to seal closed properly. Men sitting outside blaring Hispanic music with no care there were little kids in the room next to them. The bathroom has mold and some that looked to be “cleaned” up. Dirty or maybe just stained towels/washcloths. The tv would play a show or movie I was told must be dish problem that it’s a smart tv and I should screen cast from my phone yet my phone couldn’t find the tv. The ac barely cooled the room even on 70. To use the pillow you had to roll it into a ball. Four people, 2 adults and two kids and all we could get was two towels and two washcloths. I couldn’t understand the people behind the counter that was behind plexiglass. We spent most of our time away from the hotel. The time we did spend there we had a chair wedged under the door handle. Lamps were stained and rusty. The toilet seat wasn’t screwed on correctly, we fixed that. The remote has crude on it. The only light in the bathroom is as the mirror and the exhaust fan barely ran. Looks like burn holes from cigarettes in the blankets and the shower curtain had holes in it.

There were black hairs in the sink and one on the side of the toilet. Other than that the room was nice and clean. The furnishing were sparse.

The ease of checking in and out, and the size of the room. There was plenty of space to relax. The location was central to every place we had to get to in the area. It is also convenient to shopping, especially a well stocked grocery store, and there is a service station with convenience store across the street for refueling. The bed is ok, a little stiff, but that was good after a 5 hour drive. The refrigerator is good for small snacks and the microwave is large enough for our meals prepped in our microwave safe containers, and it heated them up just right, although I did burn the popcorn. It wasn’t the microwave, it was operator error.

The TV kept cutting in and out, so we were unable to enjoy a full movie to relax after the days duties and adventures.
