Rodeway Inn Silver Springs - Ocala East

First room was so stink! Smelled like old urine lingering in the toilet. And the entire property and room was very dingy. Went back to get a second room, in which was no better. Heard another customer complain about roaches in his room. Still waiting on my refund!!!!!!

This is more like a shantytown. Roaches in room will never stay here again

Nobody was at the counter when it first came up about 20 minutes got checked in they never came and changed the sheets or the towels in the room we were there for 5 days police cars driving through the parking lot like I don't know if they arrested somebody or something but didn't seem like too Savory of a place for Silver Springs management didn't give a rat's ass last time I overstay there

NOTHING…except the refund

It was like a horror movie nightmare. People who must live there just sitting around outside smoking week around…wait for it…a transmission…people everywhere carrying on , so filthy. The best was when we walked in our room that smelled like cat urine, no lights worked, no doorknob on the bathroom. Went to see why the tv wouldn’t turn on, picked up the modem and a half dozen roaches scurried out. At that point we grabbed our bags and went back to the car and the residence who were sitting outside laughed hysterically while saying “she can’t handle it, bye”. It really could have been a scene in a horror movie.

Rooms were dingy and disgusting. One room the bathroom was flooded upon arrival other room had no knob on bathroom door, and the water had an odor. Bathtub faucet was ready to fall off and water temp regulation was difficult. Water pressure was very low. Beds were very uncomfortable and despite no dogs allowed except service dogs we had a barking dog in a nearby room several times during the night. Most of the gates to the pool area were unsafely bound shut with a cable tie and a lean or push on the fence would have toppled it over

Never got a chance to stay. When we arrived, we waited in the lobby area for the receptionist to eventually come out of hiding about 10 minutes later From behind the building with a cigarette in his hand . Only for him to tell us that he see our reservation but due to them over booking ours was canceled out.

I was overwhelmed with the amount of issues with this motel. The curtains were hanging down off the hooks and no chair to pull over to fix it. I had to use a floor lamp to hold the curtain up to block the window so people couldn't look into the room. The light switch for above the sink was broken so was on at all times. There was an adjoining door between rooms that was ajar and wouldn't close or latch or lock in anyway. There was a big table blocking it, but the door would bang against the table. The television/cable didn't work. The refrigerator was leaking liquid all over the floor. The non-smoking room wreaked of cigarette smoke. All my clothes soon smelled like smoke. The floors weren't clean. The beds only had a sheet and blanket with no top bedspread or anything. It was very cold. To my amazement the shower worked and had good pressure. I asked at the desk about security because I had a rental car. They said cameras were covering the parking lot and that the front desk was open 24/7. Many people staying there were long term tenants living weekly or monthly so many people were just hanging around. The location is convenient. I wouldn't stay here again. I had a family emergency and flew in from out of state. It was the only vacancy that I could afford last minute. If you have the time and can research, I suggest pay a bit more and go to another place.
