Residence Inn by Marriott St. Petersburg Treasure Island

We were greeted with a smile and tasty cookies. Service was always friendly and quick. Enjoyed our king suite room on sixth floor with nice view. Room was clean and spacious.

Nice area, good breakfast, and clean. Needs some decor updates but overall not too bad. However, the bed was in a need of a mattress which is a deal breaker. It was like sleeping on a rock. I would give this a 5 if the mattress was decent, however, would not stay again without a decent mattress to sleep on.

Location is perfect

The breakfast at the hotel was a bit of a letdown. For the price, I was expecting a lot more variety, but unfortunately, the selection was quite limited. One of the biggest disappointments was the lack of fresh fruit options. There were very few fruits available, which was a bit surprising given the hotel's price point. The protein options were also severely lacking, with very few choices to speak of. Overall, the breakfast spread felt a bit bare-bones, and I think the hotel could definitely improve in this area. Front desk staff extremely rude. When i would go to the front desk they always stated what do you want versus a good morning or hello how can i help you. They refused to help with directions and every time i went to get towels they said they didnt have any. I asked for housekeeping so i could get trash emptied but they refused to come. I went here before a few times over the years and they never treated me so pourly. I am also a titanium marriott member and it didnt matter to them.
