Location is perfect. Bedrooms lovely. Downstairs spacious.

I think the downstairs could be upgraded to match the beautiful bedrooms.

Compact and modern.

It was quite dark inside. Not much storage space.

Spacious and comfortable, outside space available to use. Very walkable to main attractions of York. Self check in was no problem and apartment was ready earlier than expected. Good communication via email and WhatsApp.

Noise from pub at end of street was loud, especially at night so be aware of proximity. Some wear and tear in areas that need attention eg bathroom fittings loose/ broken/ missing. Marks on walls and flooring.

Very convenient to York Centre and a good rate for parking the car(s). En-suites to two of the bathrooms upstairs with two bedrooms and a family bathroom on the ground floor. Loved the little touches of basics, coffee, tea etc and also cleaning materials too. Although we were given directions, must admit we did get a bit lost. However, so pleased we did as we noticed a beautiful walk to take the three year old in our party. The Foss Way Fairy Trail was just enchanting and all of us enjoyed it. Just cross over the road as you head out of the car park, go straight ahead after turning right for a couple of minutes. You pass a private hospital on the way down and it’s just over the roundabout in front of you.

We stayed in these apartments a few years ago and were absolutely delighted with them. However, due to wear and tear the sofa, although clean, dipped in places which made it difficult when we all sat together. The downstairs bath over shower in the family bathroom was only one temperature - hot, so not suitable for children and the plug in basin didn’t work in this bathroom either. Another concern in this bathroom was if anyone had mobility difficulties, and unable to access the first floor showers, there were no safety rails to assist access to the bath. One thing that did bother us though was the lack of frosted glass/blind for privacy in the entrance door where we would stand in the kitchen. All of the other apartments were private but ours, was plain glass at the top. Late one evening, I noticed a stranger sat on the table and chairs smoking a cigarette and watching me as I was tidying up - must say I nearly died of shock.🤣 Also the bedrooms needed a bit more storage space. Could have done with somewhere to hang clothes in the two upper bedrooms and also a bit of storage in the second bedroom on the ground floor.
