The Barrymore Hotel Tampa Riverwalk

Perfect location, fantastic restaurant, and the most sincere, caring staff I’ve met. Julian, Michelle, and Jeanne went above and beyond to help us accommodate our 90-year-old parents — making sure they were comfortable, checking in often, and handling every little detail with such kindness. They truly made our stay stress-free and memorable. We’ll be back!

I chose this property because it was next to the Straz where my granddaughter had a dance recital.

The floors and surfaces in the room were dirty. The blackout curtains were old and outdated; and only went partway across so the room was light all night long. The TV initially didn’t work until the maintenance guy came and tapped it hard with his hand to “fix” it. The TV was old and kind of grainy. A bunch of dead bugs fell out of the bathmat when I opened it. I didn’t feel safe, because the door lock didn’t work properly, and the door was not a tight seal. You could see light all around it from the hallway.
